Executive Board Members
President, Jude M. Faccidomo graduated from Bard College in New York in 2000 with a Bachelor of Arts in Literature and then attended St. Thomas University School of Law where he earned his Juris Doctor in 2004. After graduating from law school Jude joined the Miami-Dade Public Defender’s Office as an assistant public defender where he amassed extensive jury trial experience and has litigated cases stemming from DUI to Murder.Jude is currently senior associate with the Law Offices of Jeffrey S. Weiner, P.A. where he practices solely criminal defense in both State and Federal court.
Jude is a member of the Dade County Bar Association Criminal Courts Committee, Chair of the Young Lawyers Division of the Florida Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers- Statewide as well as a chapter representative.
Jude is routinely voted by his fellow attorneys to be honored in South Florida Legal Guide and Superlawyers magazines and in 2011 Jude was awarded the “Gregg Wenzel Outstanding Young Lawyer Award” given annually to the young lawyer who displays skill and dedication in the field of criminal defense.
Vice President, Eduardo "Eddie" Pereira joined FACDL and the Miami Dade Public Defender's Office in 2005. Beginning his service with FACDL as a Young Lawyer Board of Directors member in 2009, Eddie now serves as the elected secretary on the Executive Board. Eddie grew up on Key Biscayne and attended Coral Gables Senior High School, thereafter graduating from the A.B. Freeman School of Business at Tulane University and the University of Miami School of Law. Currently, he continues to defend individuals as an Assistant Public Defender, handling cases ranging from complex financial schemes to large scale drug trafficking cases to homicides and other violent crimes.
Treasurer, Faith Mesnekoff is a criminal defense lawyer, recently elected Treasurer of the Florida Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers Miami Chapter. Prior to opening her own practice in 2008, she served as an Assistant Federal Public Defender for 23 years. She has served on. Ms. Mesnekoff is a member of FAWL and the Federal Bar Association, serves on a Florida Bar Grievance Committee and the Florida Bar Speakers Bureau. She has served on the National Legal Committee of the American Jewish Committee and several other local and state bar committees. Outside the practice of law, Ms. Mesnekoff is the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of HistoryMiami and serves on The Bankers Club Board of Governors.
Secretary, Margot Moss is a member of FACDL and FACDL-Miami. She also practices as a partner at Markus & Markus, PLLC in Miami, Florida with David O. Markus, Mona Markus, and Robin Kaplan. An experienced trial attorney, Margot concentrates her practice on white collar criminal defense in state and federal courts. Prior to joining Markus & Markus, Margot was a partner at Fowler White Burnett, P.A. in their White-Collar Criminal Department; and previously worked for over ten years at the Miami-Dade Public Defender’s Office where she tried over 100 cases and was responsible for teaching trial techniques to junior attorneys. She has authored four articles on various criminal topics, lectured on multiple criminal issues, and taught as a faculty member at the Gerald T. Bennett Prosecutor/Public Defender Trial Training Program in Gainesville, Florida. Margot’s other professional involvement includes the Board of Directors of Legal Services of Greater Miami, Inc.; former Vice President, Treasurer, and Director at Large for the Asian Pacific American Bar Association of South Florida; and Member of the Criminal Courts Committee for the Dade County Bar Association. She has contributed to her community by handling multiple pro bono cases for the Ensuring Equal Justice Initiative (as a Special Assistant Public Defender) and Lawyers for Children America. Margot graduated, cum laude, from the Temple University School of Law in 1996 where she served as Executive Editor of the Temple Political & Civil Rights Law Review.
